Why Saturday Dispatch for Sunday Delivery Is Different

Most Weekend Delivery Options Don’t Actually Start at the Weekend

Finding a company that advertises “Sunday delivery” is easy.

Finding a service where you can actually bring your parcel in on Saturday and have it dispatched on Saturday for Sunday delivery is much harder.

For example, standard postal services may accept a parcel on Saturday, but the Saturday dispatch may not result in the parcel being delivered on Sunday. In many cases, the next available delivery day is Monday.

Some courier companies also advertise Sunday delivery, but their weekend service may require the collection to have been pre-booked during the week, with the parcel collected before the weekend.

We do it differently.

With Weekend  Courier, you can bring your parcel to our Poplar branch on Saturday, and provided you arrive before our 4pm Saturday cut-off, we’ll arrange the dispatch for Sunday delivery.

You don’t have to wait for a weekday collection.

You don’t have to book a driver days in advance just to get your parcel moving.

Bring it to us on Saturday. We handle the rest.

Saturday Dispatch. Sunday Delivery.

A Weekend Delivery Service Built Around Your Weekend

Imagine it’s Saturday morning.

You suddenly need to send something from London to Liverpool.

Or Manchester.

Or Birmingham.

Or Newcastle.

Perhaps an online customer needs an urgent order.

Perhaps a family member needs something delivered.

Perhaps you’ve forgotten to send an important document.

With many standard options, you may be looking at Monday delivery.

With a dedicated same-day courier, you could face a very high delivery cost.

Weekend  Courier gives you another option.

Bring your parcel to us before 4pm on Saturday, and we’ll arrange the shipment for Sunday delivery.

Why Pay Same Day Courier Prices?

Weekend Delivery Doesn’t Have to Mean Extremely Expensive Delivery

If you need something to travel from London to another part of the UK on Saturday and arrive Sunday, a dedicated same-day courier might appear to be your only option.

But sending a dedicated vehicle from London to another city can be extremely expensive.

For many customers, that simply isn’t practical.

Weekend Courier provides a more cost-effective alternative for eligible Sunday deliveries.

Instead of paying for a vehicle dedicated to your individual parcel, we arrange a suitable delivery service that allows your parcel to travel through the delivery network.

That means you can get weekend delivery without automatically paying the price associated with a dedicated same-day journey.

How We Compare With Other Weekend Options

Saturday Dispatch vs Traditional Postal Services

Some traditional postal services accept parcels on Saturdays.

However, Saturday acceptance does not necessarily mean Sunday delivery.

A parcel handed over on Saturday may continue into the next working delivery cycle, with Monday being the earliest standard delivery day.

With Weekend Courier, our service is specifically designed around Saturday dispatch for Sunday delivery.

Sunday Delivery Services With Weekday Collection

Some courier companies offer Sunday delivery services.

However, weekend delivery may require the shipment to be booked in advance during the working week, with collection arranged before the weekend.

That doesn’t help if you only decide on Saturday morning that you need something delivered on Sunday.

With Weekend Courier:

You can bring your parcel to us on Saturday.

You can arrive before 4pm.

We arrange the dispatch.

Your parcel is sent for Sunday delivery.

That’s the difference.

Saturday Cut-Off: 4pm

Bring Your Parcel Before 4pm on Saturday

Our Saturday dispatch service has a 4pm cut-off.

If you need Sunday delivery, don’t leave it until the last minute.

We recommend arriving as early as possible, particularly if your parcel needs packing or you have multiple parcels to send.
